1.  Develop a Sales Pipeline to generate qualified leads

  • Identify opportunities in the marketplace that are aligned with AFN’s core competencies

  • Develop relationships with customers, vendors of existing customers, referrals, industry contacts, & networking

  • Qualify accounts while developing an in-depth knowledge of a client’s business

  • Organize sales pipeline according to Sales guidelines and process 

2.   Secure and establish customer accounts to generate business

  • Build and maintain relationships with decision makers and influencers – (C-level and Executive level)

  • Secure  solution awards based on AFN’s value proposition

  • Partner with customers on developing their service requirements and expectations

  • Collaborate with internal and external business partners to connect appropriate people to the counterpart within customer accounts

  • Maintain and update customer files in CRM software 

3. Drive account strategy to solidify long term customer partnerships

  • Recognize account complexities in order to make informed business decision

  • Build an account strategy that aligns with AFN’s business and portfolio goals

  • Develop, review, & approve account specific solution and product offerings with internal and external business partners

  • Delegate operational responsibilities internally and externally according to sales guidelines

  • Broaden knowledge on AFN solution offerings as well as competitive and relevant market information

 4. Build a sustainable, diversified portfolio to meet AFN’s goals and objectives

  • Develop a portfolio of accounts that aligns with AFN’s value-based supply chain solutions

  • Achieve weekly, monthly, and quarterly individual sales goals as defined by your manager

  • Deepen relationships within the overall business, including internal and external business partners

  • Utilize sophisticated sales approach to achieve long term objectives

5.  Fulfill other duties as required

  • Embrace the opportunities to pick up new activities that fall broadly in the purpose of the role

  • Take initiative to think outside the box and identify opportunities for improvement

  • Identify problems and recurring issues and find solutions

  • Participate fully in the “on-boarding” process of both current and new accounts 

As AFN’s Customer Sales Representative, you will have to build and manage a defined and balanced portfolio of mid-sized and large potential customers to drive opportunity  and profit by providing value-based supply chain solutions.

  • HS Diploma/GED required

  • Bachelors degree strongly preferred
