As an Office Coordinator, you will coordinate and execute all operational and clerical tasks in support of the office and the management team at AFN.  The key to your success is solid communication, jedi-like anticipation, and stellar organization and follow-through.

Some of the challenges you’ll tackle:

  • Handle reception for AFN
  • Oversee vending machines within the office
  • Order, receive, and maintain office supplies
  • Open, sort, and distribute incoming correspondence
  • Coordinate all incoming and outgoing packages
  • Handle department mailings and other product literature mailings
  • Serve as the backup to the Facilities Coordinator
  • Assist various departments on special projects
  • Support in the on-boarding of new employees
  • Ensure overall appearance of the office
  • Work closely with HR on company sponsored events and take the lead when necessary
  • Plan the Friday employee lunch and monthly breakfast
  • Lead the annual Letters from Santa Holiday charity event
  • Coordinate and manage Fall and Spring team member sports
  • Handle the ordering and distribution of holiday gifts
  • Manage the Charitable Match program
  • Participate in the monthly Best Place to Work Committee meetings
  • Assist owners with various requests
  • Handle copying, filing, and faxing of materials
  • Create presentation materials as needed
  • Coordinate all employee and client appreciation

Education and Experience

Skills and Competencies

  • High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Prior experience supporting an office preferred
  • 1-3 years in a customer service, operations, or administrative role preferred
  • Prior experience providing outstanding customer service support required
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, email, and PowerPoint
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Ability to multitask in a fast paced, changing environment
  • Ability to perform general clerical and office duties
  • Ability to problem solve under pressure
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to apply logic when planning or solving problems
  • Ability to build strong business relationships with people at all levels of a business
