  • Communicate with truck drivers, dispatchers, customers and vendors to ensure a proactive and accurate exchange of information.

  • Accurately enter information into our transportation management systems (TMS)

  • Be organized and efficient but ready to adapt to changing responsibilities from day-to-day

  • Deliver world-class customer service to our carriers, customers and AFN teammates

  • Fulfill other duties as required 

The Logistics Coordinators (LC) team is a group of detail-oriented individuals whose day is dedicated to providing AFN’s unique brand of people-powered customer service. The LC team helps to ensure that AFN is always a proactive partner by completing check-ups multiple times throughout the life of every load. This unparalleled brand of customer service is driven by AFN’s culture of open communication and our “roll up your sleeves” attitude.

As an AFN LC, you will have a responsibility to be inquisitive, engaged members of the organization and to support AFN’s mission to provide a premier service in the logistics and distribution industry.

Education and Experience

Skills and Competencies

  • High School diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred

  • 1-3 years in a customer service or administrative role preferred

  • Inquisitive-nature and a “connect-the-dots” mentality are a must

  • A positive attitude, personal initiative and laser-focus are essential in our open office environment
